Helen Dann - Teacher

Helen is a Primary School teacher and mother of two.

“Our school provides each teacher with a laptop computer so at first I wasn't interested in anything else.  My brother convinced me to use GOPC to backup my laptop.  I thought if we were ever burgled or my laptop crashed then what I would lose would be irreplaceable”.

Helen's laptop disintegrated only a fortnight later.

“I couldn't believe it. I could have lost everything.  No only did I have two years of my work, I also had photographs of everything we owned for insurance purposes in case we were burgled.   The most priceless was the photographs of my children”.

“When I rang my brother to tell him he laughed at me and told me to go next door and borrow the neighbours.  I did and everything was there.  I even had access to my work at school the next day.   I lost a heartbeat but that was all.  I didn't even care how long it took to get a replacement laptop”.

“Both my children how have their own GOPC account too.  It has restricted content and educational programs.   They can use it to pay on now and I've no fear of what they do because they can't touch my desktop or data.”.
